An introduction from our founder
Hi, and thank you for being here!
I set up the Creative Careers Club to support graduates and early career professionals to thrive in the creative industries – by helping people to prepare for their job search, find internship and job opportunities, get hired and make good progress in their career. You can read about how we support individuals in the creative industries here.

Finding a job – or even an internship – can be pretty gruelling these days. Most job ads don't show the salary. Some pop up on LinkedIn and close just a day later. Then there's often no feedback on applications, or getting ghosted somewhere along the line. Reading this Guardian article on the challenges of graduate job-hunting in today's market brought this home for me, and got me thinking about I could use my own experience (there's a bit more about that here) to help people at the start of their careers.

As well as working with individuals, we also partner with creative employers to provide tailored recruitment services for graduate, entry-level and early career roles. We offer expert copywriting support for effective job ads, plus consultancy and practical support for hiring strategy, graduate programme design, career development and employee retention – including mentoring and support for early career employees. Read more about how we work with employers.

And a big part of our work involves advocating and campaigning for fair recruitment, for the benefit of every job applicant – you can find out more about our #ShowTheSalary campaign here.
We're a startup social enterprise, founded in October 2024, and we plan to scale fast to reach as many creative industry professionals as possible.

What do we mean by creative careers and the creative industries?

Creative careers come in many forms, but the main ones we focus on are:
-
advertising, branding, marketing and PR
-
publishing
-
art and crafts
-
design including graphic design, animation, fashion and video games
-
TV, radio and film
-
music and performing arts
-
museums, culture and heritage.

You can visit our Jobs board to search for jobs, internships and career development opportunities across these sectors.

What do we mean by social enterprise?

Social enterprises are businesses that are committed to creating positive social change. Our social mission is to give people the knowledge, skills and support to find jobs and thrive in the creative industries, to widen access to creative industry careers, and to deliver positive change in recruitment (our main focus being fair hiring through #ShowTheSalary). Many of the services we provide are completely free for anyone to access. For paid-for services, we keep the costs as low as we can, and also offer bursary memberships so we can deliver support to people who would find it difficult to cover the membership fee.

How can I get involved?

Joining the Creative Careers Club gives you access to expert coaching to help you land internships and early career jobs in the UK creative industries – and every membership supports our social mission. You can find out how to join here.
